Adult Eye Examination
Comprehensive Optometric Eye Health Examination
Eye health examination is extremely crucial than purely sight (prescription) test. This assess front to the back of our eyes, in order to pick up any early sign of eye health condition or diseases. It involves eye prescription check, internal eye pressure check, retinal examination (including digital fundus photography), slit-lamp examination (for i.e. dry eyes, cataract check), binocular vision assessment, colour vision assessment, and visual field perimetry assessment.
Glaucoma Screening
Glaucoma is a silent thief of sight. Early detection is vital to preserve remaining vision, as to date, there is no cure to this eye condition but only able to manage it. This assessment include internal eye pressure check, central corneal thickness measurement, optic nerve measurement and visual field perimetry assessment.
Diabetic Retinopathy Screening
Diabetes Mellitus (DM) affects nearly 1 in 5 Malaysians, and many went undiagnosed. The most common type is Type 2 Diabetes, which contracted later in life. Whenever a person first diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, must have first diabetic retinopathy screening upon diagnosis, and there after, bi-annual or annual eye examination, depending on the frequency which deemed necessary.

Myopia Monitoring Program
Children's short-sightedness and develpmental growth of the eye has to be taken seriously. In 2050, half of the world's population will be short-sighted. Short-sightedness not necessarily means correcting vision with glasses, as high short-sightedness could lead to permanent vision impairment in the future. Here, we'd provide different management plan and myopia monitoring program to suit every child.
Contact Lenses
Contact Lens Fitting and Consultation
Contact lenses are medical devices which has to be professionally prescribed by optometrists. This would ensure long term safety and optimum eye health. The assess includes anterior (front) eye health examination, prescription check, contact lens on-eye trial and fitting check, and contact lens prescription check. This can be done for both soft and rigid contact lens.
Contact Lens After Care
After care for contact lens users at least once a year is important to ensure the pair of contact lenses is still suitable. Change of lifestyle, medication, or habit, could also change the suitability of the contact lenses type. During assessment, eye health is also assessed, in order to make sure eyes are healthy and still safe to continue with contact lens wear.
Special Assessment
Visual Stress Assessment for Dyslexia/Migraine
Visual stress is a condition characterised by symptoms of asthenopia (headache around the eye) and visual perceptual distortions when observing striped patterns, including lines of text. It is often not described by children especially but screening can be done on this. Migraine could also be a result from visual stress, too!
